Art Spread:
Sheldon & Penrose
“Even when I was younger, I would sit and cut things out, making sure that I was precise and exact; to have none of the background showing at all. Give me a pair of small detail scissors and an image and, I can sit for hours cutting. Some people may say I need therapy but, I guess this is my therapy – the world is blocked out and the mind switches modes. My mind is constantly going – I am both analytical and creative so, when one half of my brain is not working, the other half is in full gear. And then, they switch. I am always looking at how to make things better, how to use things differently and how to look at things with a different perspective. I have books filled with ideas but, unfortunately, have little time to execute them all. I always have to have a notebook with me because I never know when a sight or an image or a saying will spark an idea. I have been known to scribble sketches and notes down on napkins, paper coasters and paper menus – whatever is around at the time.” – sheldonandpenrose
